"A Dinner to Remember" Participation Guide
The Brenham ISD Education Foundation's inaugural A Dinner to Remember fundraising event raised an impressive $173,000 in 2024, significantly surpassing its goal. The event featured auctions, games, and sponsorships, with notable contributions such as a student artwork fetching $4,100 and a matched donation doubling it to $8,200. Student projects earned a share of proceeds, with 20% allocated directly to students, 10% to their programs, and 70% funding scholarships and teacher mini-grants. Since its inception, the Foundation has awarded over $750,000 in grants and established new scholarships, emphasizing its commitment to supporting educators and enhancing student opportunities.

Fund Allocation Breakdown:

Campus Donations (Campus-Organized Items):

  • Live Auction: 100% of proceeds go to the campus.
  • Silent Auction: 100% of proceeds go to the campus.

Elementary & Middle School Art:

  • Live Auction (Grade Level/Campus Submissions): 50% Art Program / 50% Foundation.
  • Silent Auction (Grade Level/Campus Submissions): 50% Art Program / 50% Foundation.
  • Silent Auction (Student Submissions): Teacher & Student Field Trip to Gatti’s.
  • Submission Limit: 4 per campus
  • Middle School Artist Submissions: Curated among BJHS entries for auction type, following JHS percentage breakdown.

Junior High School Art:

  • Live & Silent Auctions (Student Submissions): 20% Student / 10% Art Program / 70% Foundation.
  • Live & Silent Auctions (Grade Level/Campus Submissions): 50% Art Program / 50% Foundation.

High School Art / CTE / Extracurricular:

  • Live & Silent Auctions (Student Submissions): 20% Student / 10% Art Program / 70% Foundation.
  • Live & Silent Auctions (Grade Level/Campus Submissions): 50% Art Program / 50% Foundation.

February 28th, 2025

  • Requirement to complete a form for each item submitted
  • Items can be sent or dropped off at the Central Office.
  • Note: Form can be updated before final review.
