Important - Do not file work related injuries on your group medical or prescription plans. File only with the Workers' Compensation Insurance Carrier.  

If you are injured while at work: 

  • Report your injury to your supervisor immediately
  • Complete injury forms 
  • Workers Compensation Form
  • Visit In Network Physician as necessary
  • Notify supervisor and Workers' Comp Coordinator, Jessica Allen ext. 2111, of work status

Absence Management

All absences must be entered into Frontline for all BISD employees. 

Absences lasting longer than 5 days require a FMLA form to be completed by the employee. The form is available under Staff Resources. 

The use of more than 3 personal consecutive days requires prior approval from Human Resources.
