What is Jump Start?

Jump Start will use a blended approach to instruction both at-home (online) and on campus. Jump Start will allow teachers to build relationships with new students to better guide instruction in the regular school year and fill instructional gaps created by the COVID-19 school closure. Although priority will be given to high needs students, district and campus officials are working on a plan to meet the needs of as many students as possible through this program.

What if my child isn’t eligible for the programs above?

All Brenham ISD families are invited to use the supplemental learning resources below to keep students learning and growing as readers and thinkers. Throughout the summer, students should continue reading at least 20 minutes per day and continue math fluency practice regularly.
